Consultation and Supervision

You found your calling, now refine your way.

Being a social worker has been an exciting adventure for  me.  Throughout my career, I have woven in various modalities, specialties, and practices to my work with clients.  Where I have landed is that I am a Feminist, Transpersonal Psychotherapist who aims to change the world (along with many others at my side), midwifing people to reconnect to their soul and purpose for being.  I am EMDR certified and have been practicing EMDR for over 10 years. I have had a CAC III (CAS) since 2003 and have specialized  in working with  people who have gained sobriety and are ready to heal past trauma as well as working with partners  of people struggling with  addiction around the area of codependency. In addition, I am trained in Gestalt therapy and incorporating ceremony and ritual into the therapeutic process, plus I have dabbled (through trainings and extensive reading) in Attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, and more.  As  you can see, for the last 20+ years I have been on an educational journey to discover what will help my clients the most.  As my supervisee, I will expect you to be exploring and learning as well.

I am excited to extend this offer of consultation and supervision to people in my group practice as well as practitioners out in the community working to establish themselves.

Whether it's through mentoring you to find your niche, build your business, achieve your license, or get clinical guidance; I have the experience to support you.  I am enthusiastic about partnering with you to build your professional identity, clinical confidence, and find your way through your professional career.

Individual and group supervision sessions are offered virtually and are available to social workers and counselors practicing anywhere in Colorado. My consultation services are open toward clinicians in the early part of their social work/mental health career and are also intended for LCSWs seeking additional consultation. If you are excited about growing your professional identity as well as your clinical skills, contact me to schedule an initial consultation and let's see if we are a good fit.

If you believe my style and practice are a good fit, but you aren't sure you are ready to manage a business on your own,  consider joining my group practice to access individual mentorship and training, group consultation and tons of  administrative support.
Beth Barta is an approved clinical supervisor  and has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field.
