Hana Hispa

Hana Hispa, Clinical Mental Health Intern

There is a lot that can come our way at any point in our lives. Sometimes it seems like too much to handle, in the short or long run. At other times, we may feel stuck, without knowing our way forward to something different.

I’m here to support clients as they find their way to peace, balance, meaningfulness, vitality, and joy. I view therapy as a space where these qualities can be brought to life, with gentleness and patience. I have a deep trust in the unfolding that takes place once we start paying attention to previously unnoticed parts of our experience. I also believe that our bodies and minds are naturally designed to heal. It is my intention to create an environment conducive to that process.

My offerings include supporting clients through life transitions, trauma, questions about identity, self-esteem, relationships, stress, anxiety, depression, career as well as spirituality.

Additionally, as someone who has walked the path of navigating integration with another culture, I have deep empathy for those who are experiencing challenges in these areas. It is my intention to enter the therapeutic space with sensitivity to and reverence for the multitude of backgrounds and ways of being in the world.

I’m a student in the Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Counseling program at Naropa University in Boulder. Prior to pursuing a career that I’m truly passionate about, I worked in the legal field. I completed my law degree at Charles University in Prague and the University of Denver.

I love the outdoors in any form, I like to move, read, listen, dance, as well as create and interact with art. I also delight in spending time with my family and friends.
