Carolina has a Master`s in Social Work from Western New Mexico University and she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has a Bachelor`s in Languages & Literature Studies from Pontificia Universidade Catolica (PUC) in Brazil, where she was born and raised. She has a second language teaching certification which allowed her to teach English in her home country.
Carolina feels that counseling is her true calling, she is passionate about understanding human behavior and mending past trauma that may be interfering with your current level of functioning in life. Carolina has experience working in the areas of domestic violence, substance abuse, long-term care mental health, eating disorders, childhood trauma, geriatric care management, end-of-life care, death and dying, bereavement, caregiver burnout, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
