Her journey in the field of social work began as a personal mission to make a positive impact on her community, and it has evolved into a remarkable career dedicated to facilitating growth and transformation.

Alicia’s educational background is rooted in social work, holding a masters in Social Work, and she is currently a candidate for licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Her commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest therapeutic approaches ensures that her clients receive the highest quality care.

She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and also pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the Harm Reduction Model, and Parts Work to help guide her work with clients.

Her approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of the unique experiences faced by marginalized communities.
