The Power of Retreating Inward
In our fast-paced, constantly-connected world, it's all too easy to lose touch with ourselves. We get caught up in the demands of work, family, and social obligations, leaving little time for the deep inner exploration that's so crucial for personal growth and healing.
That's why retreats - the opportunity to step away from our normal routines and immerse ourselves in focused self-work - are so valuable.
Unlike a typical weekly therapy session, where much of the time is spent just getting settled, catching up, and then setting your next appointment at the end, a multi-day retreat format allows you to dive right into the heart of the work. In a retreat, you have the space to fully integrate new insights and make lasting changes, rather than just scratching the surface.
In fact, some would say that in the course of one weekend retreat, you can gain as much connection with yourself and growth as you would in one year of therapy.
Reclaim Your Wholeness
From September 6-8, we will be hosting a retreat called “Reclaim Your Wholeness.” Over the course of 12 hours together, this retreat provides a rare chance to reconnect with your truest self.
Through a blend of educational content, experiential healing exercises, and nervous system regulation practices, the "Reclaim Your Wholeness" retreat will give you a new paradigm for understanding yourself and the world.
Grounded in Toltec wisdom and Internal Family Systems therapy, the retreat will help you connect to your "big self" - your essential, sacred core - and the various "parts" that make up your personality. You'll learn tools for cultivating self-compassion, accessing flow states, and reconnecting with your innate creativity and joy.
Complementing the deep inner work will be restorative yoga, meditation, sound healing, and art therapy. These modalities help regulate your nervous system, ensuring you don't get dysregulated or stuck in unhelpful emotional patterns during the intensive.
The Power of Integration
One of the greatest gifts of a retreat is the opportunity to fully integrate what you've learned, rather than trying to apply new insights immediately upon returning to your daily grind.
By the end of the 12 hours together, you'll have a roadmap for maintaining the connection to your true self that you've rekindled. This self-knowledge and self-compassion is the foundation for lasting personal growth and fulfillment.
Just as importantly, when you bond deeply with yourself in this way, you're able to show up more fully and authentically in your relationships. You'll have a better understanding of your emotional needs and how to meet them, rather than relying on others to "complete" you.
If you're ready to reclaim your wholeness,
reserve one of the few remaining spots today.

Are You Trying So Hard to Prove Yourself That You Forget the Self You’re Trying to Prove? We live in a culture that loves to reward striving—be productive, be successful, be helpful, be strong. Many people carry this expectation so deeply that it becomes a way of life. Somewhere along the way, proving ourselves becomes more familiar than being ourselves. Poet Arielle Estoria names this pattern with one powerful question: “Are you trying so hard to prove yourself that you forget the Self you are trying to prove?” So many of us are. We prove we’re enough by saying yes when we want to say no. We prove we’re strong by holding everything together for everyone else. We prove we’re worthy by always doing more—at work, at home, even in our healing. But all this proving comes at a cost: we begin to lose touch with the quiet, steady presence of who we really are. When Over-functioning Becomes a Survival Strategy Over time, doing too much becomes second nature. You might not even realize you’re doing it. You just know that you’re tired. Or anxious. Or constantly second-guessing yourself. You may even feel invisible or resentful, while also being praised for how capable you are. That constant drive to manage, fix, help, succeed, or achieve? It’s often rooted in something deeper. Sometimes it’s shaped by childhood experiences where love felt conditional. Sometimes it’s a response to trauma, grief, or chaos. Sometimes it’s simply the weight of a world that told you you had to earn your value. Whatever its origin, it makes sense. It’s not a flaw—it’s a form of protection. But if you're reading this, there's probably a part of you that’s ready for a different way. You Are Not a Performance. You Are a Presence. There’s a you underneath the striving. A steady, wise, compassionate You that never needed to prove anything. You are already enough—just by being. That deeper Self may have been buried under years of over-responsibility, perfectionism, anxiety, or caretaking. But it’s still there. And reconnecting with it is one of the most powerful steps on the healing path. This is the heart of the work we do—supporting you in coming back to their your sense of worth, safety, and Self.
