Corrine McLellan

Corinne McLellan, MA, LPCC

You know how taking a walk can sometimes help you calm down? Well, in addition to talking about your thoughts and feelings, Corinne uses body awareness and movement to enhance counseling sessions so that you can find relief from things like anxiety, fear, grief and pain.  If you are facing challenges in your life that include recovering from trauma, moving through a recent loss and/or coping with anxiety, depression or chronic illness, you are not alone.

Corinne offers a unique approach to mental health counseling that considers the whole you. Her passion is working with you to create a space that honors your unique needs. Combining 15+ years as a yoga instructor/wellness coach with training as a professional counselor has created a special, experiential approach to helping you reach your mental health goals. Her clients are seeking a different relationship with their pain, fear and grief that will simply lead to feeling better. Corinne loves that being a counselor allows her to connect with people who are seeking gentle guidance in a non-judgmental space.
Corinne utilizes a spiritually sensitive approach and honors the cultural background of each person she works with. She uses a variety of counseling approaches rooted in Mindfulness, person-centered talk therapy, parts work and somatic (body) integrations.
